If you want to learn how easy, quick and simple is to save custom browser session at any time and next to restore any of previously saved custom browser sessions at any time you need it, then read next.
It is not required any additional software program or browser plug-in / addon in order to save browser session, because this is native web browser feature.
All current web browsers like Internet Explorer(IE), Firefox(FF), Safari and Opera, supports save browsing session and restore browsing session features.( Of course stupid google chrome browser is not capable to save or restore internet browsing sessions.) This allows you to save many internet web browsing sessions and later to restore one or any of them. If you use a lot of tabs to open many web pages simultaneously then you probably would like to save / store web pages from all tabs (this is your browsing session) for future use. You can then safety close your web browser without to worry that your internet browsing session will be lost and you will not be able to find all open pages on next morning / day.
NOTE: You may need to short press “Alt” key on your keyboard in order to see browser main menu bar
Most user friendly internet web browsing session can be saved and restored by web browser Opera, because Opera have build-in session manager feature that allows you to save and restore browsing sessions very quick and easy. To save internet web browsing session in Opera web browser just click "file" menu --> "Sessions" --> "Save this session" and give name of this session. This will save your internet web browsing session not only for active Opera window but from all open Opera windows. If you want to save just web pages open in tabs of active Opera window check “Only save active window” check box. To restore some of previously saved internet browsing sessions just click on "File" menu --> "Sessions" and then click name of browsing session you want to restore. To delete session that is not needed anymore from sessions list use "session manager"
Saving internet web browsing session in Internet Explorer(IE), Firefox(FF) and safari is not so user friendly as with Opera browser, because they have not build-in session manager feature, but it is still very easy and I think even more comfortable because gives you better control. Saving and restoring browser session in these 3 browsers is done in similar way To save internet web browsing session of active web browser window in - IE click on Favorites menu --> “Add current tabs to favorites” - FF click oh Bookmarks menu --> Bookmark all tabs or right click any tab and from popup menu click Bookmark All Tabs - Safari click on Bookmarks menu --> “Add bookmark for these N tabs” (N in number of open tabs). Leave main favorites / bookmarks folder as folder where new group will be created. That will allows you to find saved sessions more quickly. Then Enter name for this session that will be used as favorite’s folder name where will be stored all web pages from browser tabs of active browser window. I suggest you to use prefix Session for easy recognition of stored sessions among other bookmarks For example you can enter name like this: “Session1” or “Session universities list” (without quotes of course). Click save to create new group inside favorites / bookmarks menu and to fill it with bookmarks to web pages open in current browser window. If you need to save web pages opened in other web browser windows you will need to save them one by one.
To restore internet web browsing session in IE, FF or Safari open favorites / bookmarks pane (pane and not menu) then right click name of session group you want to load and from pop-up menu click: - IE “Open In Tab Group” - FF “Open All In Tabs” - Safari “Open In Tabs”
That is all. It need a bit more explanation than in Opera browser case, but is as simple and easy as it.
To delete saved custom browser session, just open favorites / bookmarks pane, right click browser session name tou want to delete and from pupup menu click delete. You can also delete custom browser session by select its name and then hit "Del" key on keyboard.
To manage sessions in Internet Explorer(IE), Firefox(FF) and Safari just open favorites/bookmarks pane, pin it if required, expand session groups you want to manage and drag and drop shortcuts between sessions, delete shortcuts from session groups or add shortcuts from favorites/bookmarks tree to desired session group. To do that you can use drag and drop or right mouse click popup menus
