All web browsers have a way for adding web sites / pages in favories list, but in all of them adding favorites in this way is very inconvenient especially when you have large favorites list containing a big number of folders. However there is a very easy and comfortable way to add favorites in such a big list using drop and drag. If required create new subfolde / subcategory 5. While page you want to bookmark / add to favorites is open usinf mouse drag icon displayed at left side of address bar and drop it over folder / category you opened in step 3 or step 4. If you preffer you can drag browser tab instead of address bar icon. That is all. Now web page is included in browser's bookmarks / favorites. To manage favorites / bookmarks easily using drag and drop: 1. open favories pane / bar of your browser that you usualy use to open already existing favotites link / bookmark 2. Use drag and drop to arange bookmarks / favorite links and categorys / folders. If you prefer you can also use cut and paste to move favorites / bookmarks instead to drag them |

Add folder to Favorites folders in Windows Vista
Favorite Links in Vista Windows Explorer |
In Windows Vista you can add any folder you want to favorites folders list(called Favorite Links) to make it easy to access from Windows explorer window. To add folder / directory to favorites folders list that is located above folder / directory tree at left pane of Windows explorer, open Windows Explorer, then browse to folder /directory you want to add as favorite folder / directory and drag it with mouse to favorite folders list and drop it there. Now you have quick access to this folder / directory and it is not necessary to browse a lot of folders and sub folders to reach it, because you can click it right from favorite folders list. When folder is already added to Favorites Links you can drag and drop any file or folder over it to copy or move it into that folder. For example if you add your flash drive to Favorites Links, you will be able to copy or move any file or folder to it easy with drop and drag. If you add youe optical drive burner you will be able to set files and folders for burning by gragging and dropping them over burner icon located in Favorites Links. You can use this technique for any other suitable drives like zip drive, jaz dive, floppy drive blueray drive and so on. |

Good Memory For Stable System
RAM that will run without problems on any MB must be compliant to JEDEC standard for DDR2 / DDR3. Most important properties of JEDEC RAM are: - voltage: 1.5V for DDR3 / 1.8V for DDR2 - on-die-termination (ODT) design - 64Mx8bits for 1GB modules in FBGA / 128Mx8bits for 2GB modules in FBGA
Good RAM has not heat sink because supplied with standard voltage it is not hot. ODT ensures stable errorless operation on high frequencies
RAM that is supplied with 2.0V or more and has heat sink is only for experienced over clock enthusiasts because do not comply with JEDEC. It is over clocked and causes boot problems, unstable system run and low performance. Always buy JEDEC compliant RAM if you want to build stable running system with good performance. Standard RAM will run without problems on all MBs no matter it is not included in QVL |

Running Windows in AHCI/RAID1 mode
If by any reason you can't supply hdd controller drivers to windows install, but you want to use AHCI or RAID1(mirrored) mode you can do the following steps: 1. Set HDD controller in IDE mode 2. Install windows without need of HDD controller drivers 3. When windows installation is complete while in IDE mode, install HDD controller drivers required to run in AHCI/RAID mode. (get latets drivers from manifacturer web site). 4. Reboot, and wait until you get message that your new hardware is installed and you need to reboot. This can take about 5-10 minutes 5. Reboot and wait 5-10 minutes after windows is loaded to be sure there are not other driver install messages. 6. Reboot, go in bios and set AHCI or RAID1(mirrored) mode
This will not work for RAID0 or other RAID configuration that increase speed! |

How to register / set / install 32bit codec on Windows x64
In oreder to work on windows codecs needs to be registered into the system first.
You can register codecs by using Microsoft register server regsvr32 that comes with Windows OS.
You may want to register a codec manually using regsvr32 if codec have not installer or in case when installer failed to register 32 bit codec on Windows x64.
In case you want to update codec that is already registered on the system with most current one, you can just overwrite codec file, but you need to do it when codec is not in use (close all programs that may use the codec you want to update).
To register 32bit codec on Windows x64 you need to execute regsvr32.exe by specifying full path to it. Registering 32bit codec on Windows x64 is doing by calling regsvr32.exe from sysWOW64 folder, but not from system32 folder! For example to register codec file named videocodec.ax located in folder Program Files\Media Codecs on drive C you need to open Command Prompt or Run dialog and to type the following comand:
C:\Windows\sysWOW64\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Media Codecs\videocodec.ax"
Please note that text after regsvr32.exe is quoted. This is required because text contains white spaces. If path have not white spaces, quotes are not mandatory.
